2008 ----> 2009

Today marks the end of the year 2008 and tomorrow the year 2009 will begin. Times files. 1 year had passed so fast like the speed of light. Haiz.. How I wish that I can turn back the clock and also freeze the time so that it won't pass so fast. But this is just imagination and this won't happen in reality.

So far the year 2008 surely brings lots of sweet and bitter memories to me. I stayed at home doing nothing for the past 6 months after sitting for my SPM examinations. While most of my friends had started undergoing NS training and some of them begin their studies in their respective colleges. Until the month of July, I begin to further my studies in college and it is time for studying. Currently I'm now having my last 4 days of break before stress is piling up on me. :( I'm still not mentally and physically prepared to go back to college. How I wish the college give us another month break.

What I missed the events in 2008 is the EURO 2008, which kicked off early June and ended on the last day of June. I remembered that I watch every single football matches although most of the matches held in midnight and the following morning. Even though I didn't get enough sleep, but it was so fun get to watch all the matches. I think for the next World Cup in 2010, hopefully I'm able to watch every single match provided I'm free. lol.

The Beijing Olympics 2008 was a marvelous one hosted ever in the history. I managed to catch both the Opening Ceremony and also the Closing Ceremony of the games. But due to college assignments and homework, I was forced not to watch some of the interesting part of the games. Anyway we wait for the next Olympic Games which will be held in London in 2012. lol.

1st Anniversary

Today is the 1st anniversary my family and I left our beloved Taman Melawati home and shifted to Puchong. Wow!! I just can't believe that it has already been a year I've stayed in Puchong. But I prefer Taman Melawati because of the greenery surrounding our homes and its tranquillity whereas Puchong is a town which is currently undergoing rapid development and also a place where there are more shophouses and restaurants compared to Taman Melawati.

Yesterday afternoon, my family and I went back to Desa View ( our old house ) in Taman Melawati to collect some of the letters in the letterbox and also to check the condition of the house. The house is in total mass and filthy because we still don't have the time to clean it up. The last time I went back to my old house was about 2 months ago and there were no guards at all, the water of the swimming pool was greenish, and the holes on the road were not tarred . To my surprise, when we entered Desa View, there is a brand new boom gate being built and a refurbished guardhouse. We can't enter the compound because we don't have the access card to open the boom gate. My dad then parked his car in an empty parking space beside the old playground. We then head to the swimming pool and we were shocked to see the crystal blue water in the pool. The new management had finally cleaned up the place and this is a good sign to the residents who are staying there.

After that, I passed by my old primary school and secondary school. On the way, we saw a very rapid development around Melawati hills where all the trees had been cut and the hills were being developed to a brand new housing area. The recent landslide which occured in Bukit Antarabangsa had certainly reminded me of dangerous hill developments. They were many landslides happened in the area around Ulu Klang and yet there are still houses being built around the hills. Politicians should stop taking to the press that all hill developments should be stopped immediately. Instead, stern actions should be taken against developers who insist to built houses around the hillside. We all against hill development and we do not want to see any death happen due to this natural phenomena then only actions will be taken. "Actions speaks louder than words" Act now before anything worst will happen.

My condolence to those who had lost their loved onces and I really thank God that my friends and teachers who stay in Bukit Antarabangsa are still save.

After that, we went to Berjaya Times Square at 3.30 p.m. Went to Borders to read some book overthere and at the same time got my hair cut in Fusion Saloon. XP. There goes my long hair. :(. lol.

Online Games in Facebook

I've recently discovered that facebook do have online games. For the past 2 weeks I've been addicted to it until I didn't update my blog for a very long time XP.

Bowling Buddies : This game is actually a bowling game. I used to play the real bowling game before but the points that I used to scored before were at least 100 ++ points. In this game, I can get up to 5 strikes and 8 spares which is possible to achieve to all players but for the real bowling game, I don't think I can't achieve that high points. I'm now trying to get to the 220 ++ if possible :)




























Who Has The Biggest Brain : The purpose of this game is to test on how intelligent is our brain. lol. But I find it that the game is effective to determine if our brain can think fast enough to solve all puzzles and do simple calculations :D. I seriously need to improve my mental calculation because I rely too much on my scientific calculator to calculate simple calculations. hehe.


































Geo Challenge : This is one of my favourite games. This game require us to identify the name of the nations' flags, identify the world map, and also identify the cities of every nations. This game need more knowledge on Geography. Geography is considered my favourite subject and the last time I've learned it when I was in Form 3. I really miss learning that subject. :( Certainly, this game kind of reminded me of Geography :) Hehe..







































Pet Society : This game certainly reminds me of Harvest Moon, whereby a boy need to run errands by walking around the town meeting neighbours, selling and buying things, and taking part in various competitions. This Pet Society is almost similar to Harvest Moon. The only different thing is the animal will walk around the town meeting friends, taking part in various activities and etc. This game can be quite fun, but it certainly take lots of time to obtain the highest score. lol.
































Word challenge : This game is to test how fast and good we can form many words using the 6 given alphabets. I really seldom play this game since it require more thinking to form the words. haiz... But this game is good since it can imporve my vocabulary and also forming various words .

Holidays Oh Holidays

The school holidays are here again. Children and students from all schools screamed and jumped for joy when the school bell rang which indicates that the school term for 2008 had officially ended. Now they are having a long 7-week break before school term for year 2009 begin. To me, this is the normal thing to happen among students because they don't have to wake up early in the morning to drag themselves to school, no need to face and do all the homework, tests, assignments given by teachers. They also don't have to attend tuition classes and also no need to face the lectures given by teachers. During the holidays they can at least release their stress after 10 months of studying and sitting for exam, play games, go online and going for a vacation with family.

When I was in primary school, I always look forward for my holidays to begin. I often pray to hope that the year-end holidays will begin faster. This is the time where I can play my favourite game in Play Station 1. I used to ask my mother 's permission if she would allow me to play the game. I remembered that sometimes, she would asked me to do some revision and reading before playing the Play Station. lol. I sighed and sometimes I read a book blindly. I did that so that she would allow me to play. How naughty I am when I was young. haha. Sometimes, I watched my elder sister playing the long and adventurous games like Final Fantasy 9. Somewhere in November 2005, my dad bought us a slim Playstation 2 so that we can play most of the new games like Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, Final Fantasy 1o, 1o-2 and 12. But my sister was the one who played all the games. I just sit down and watched her play only.

Well, to me, the holidays had actually begun last Thursday. Last Wednesday, we sat for our Economics exam. The exam hall was so cold until I have to put on my jacket to keep me warm throughout the exam period. As the lecturers finished counting the papers, she later announced that all of us can leave the hall. I breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing that. Now, that the exams are over and Semester 1 for MUFY had ended. Can we imagine how times flies? I used to remember that when I first stepped into the college in July and I was quite shy to mix around with the people overthere. But now, Ive made a lot of friends from other countries and also thr local one. But, I really miss my secondary school life and also my old buddies . Hopefully, some other day, we shall meet up. OK?

I actually find it that the hoildays are normal and there is nothing to be happy or shout about. During this holidays, I don't really know what to do to ease the boredoom. Since my dad unable to apply for leave because of his job in office, so I would spend my time staying at home watching television, go online, log in to friendster, facebook, and blogging. I don't really know why suddently I lost my interest in playing Playstation . I find it that the game which I used to play last time was dull and boring. Furthermore, the new games for Playstation 2 is currently unavailable and the shops which sell pirated DVD games had stopped selling it. :( So I will spend my time going online throughout the break to ease my boredoom.

Every evening, i would go to the park to jog as jogging will keep me fit and healthy. I realised that I hardly have the time to go jogging during college hours. But I did jogged during the weekends if I had the time to do so. But during the break, my parents seriously want me to jog every single day because they had actually complained to me that my tummy is getting bigger and I'm getting fatter. So they want me to look fit by asking me to jog and do push up and sit up.

Today is the last day of September and tomorrow is the 1st of October. Another 3 more months the year 2009 will begin. It seems that time flies very very fast.

Currently I'm having my 1 week break and most of the time I spent the time resting too much. My final semester exam will begin in a month time and I'm still not prepared for it. lol. I just hope to spent my time studying during the holidays.

Currently, my mind is blank. Maybe I'm too tired or exhausted because I've jogged for the past 2 consecutive days or maybe i think too much. I apologize if there is lack of updates. But I will try to update as much as I can depending on my mood.

Songs & Musics & Liverpool's Victory

It has been a long time since I've download songs & musics.

Ever since I started my studies in college, I don't have the tine to do so.

But yesterday I downloaded lots of songs which I used to listen to Mix FM. lol

Good News for Liverpool supporters:

Liverpool finally beat Manchester United 2-1.

I watched them play. Actually they played very well compared to Manchester United and they truely deserved the victory. I is so happy :):)

Blogging In College

Currently I'm in the library of Sunway University College. Supposed to find the information for my English oral but now I decided to blog here because it has been a long time since I've blog.

Now I'm having a 3 hours of break before my Malaysian studies which starts at 4.00 p.m. Should I attend that class or not?? If today I don't have that Malaysian Studies, maybe I can go home early and also I will take a nap and sit on my comfortable sofa to watch the Olympics. But if I go for that, I will waste my time listening to the lecturer talking and don't get what the lecturer trying to say. lol

Well, another 2 days I will have my 1 week break. I just can't wait for that. But I've have to be well prepared for my next assignments and topic tests :(:(. i really need to put in more effort in all my 4 subjects if I want to achieve my goal.

So far, I think that college life is quite stressful for me. Hopefully I would be able to cope it and try not to put too much pressure on myself. :)

Pls : Congratulations to Lee Chong Wei for advancing to the semis after playing a very good game against Sony. Well, I hope that you can go all the way to the final and bring back the gold medal and create a history for Malaysia. :):)

Jams, Assignments, Exams

So far, at 3 and a half weeks in college, I'm adaping well in college.

I've made lots of new friends. Some of my friends whom I mixed with came from other state and also some are international students who come from Indonesia, Mauritius, Kenya, and China. It is a good exposure for me as I got to know more about the countries, cultures, etc. Lol.

By the way, alomost everyday I need to pass by the Sunway LDP toll plaza in order for me to get to Sunway University College. The main problem is there is always traffic jam while paying the toll. I've to endure all this every morning and to avoid the jam, I've to go an hour earlier. Sometimes, I reach the college in 30 mins time but if the jam is terrible, the journey will take an hour to reach. It seems that I'm joining the other cars go to work. lol.

What is the point paying the toll to suffer in the traffic jam??? Do we pay to suffer or do we pay to cut short our journey??? I just hope that the government can do something with it. Either abolish it or reduce the toll rates.

On the 31st of July, there will be a presentation for Malaysian studies and some of my group members still don't cooperate to comtribute idea on our assignment. GAH!!!!!!!
On the 1st of August, I will be sitting for my first exam for this year which is Economics and on
the 6th of August I will be sitting for my Maths exam. I'm just 50 % ready for it and I need to study more...

College Stuff

Hi everyone! It has been a long time since I've blog. This is because I am quite busy with my college stuff and also lots of things need to settle in college. Well, orentation was fine. During the first day of college, I thought I won't have any friends but on the day itself, I got to meet lots of new local friends and also foreign frineds. Most of the students there are very friendly and sociable and I felt blessed to have these kind of frineds. I even met Muhaimin who is also doing the same course as me but he took different subjects. I also met Besty who is currently studying A-levels in the same college. I also meet Catherine( ADTP ), Brian Yeo ( AUSMAT ) and also Aliza ( CIMP ) during my first day in Sunway. I think that quite a number of Melawatian study there too.

Well, the subjects that I took for my MUFY are English, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, and Malaysian Studies( I think that subject is totally useless and why on earth the government asked all Malaysian students to study that particular subject ) Haiz.... NoOb betul lah the government. On Wednesday, we had officially started our lecture class. About the lecturer, some are good and some are not good. Basically, it is like going to school. The only different thing is the lecture room is equipped with air-con whereas school does not. With air-con, we can concentrate more while the lecturer is teaching. Also we have to move from one class to another to attend another subject lecture. Unlike school, we have a fixed classroom and also fixed sitting place. Lots of differences between school and college. I have to adapt college life as soon as possible.

My English lecturer reminds me of Pn Fidzah ( I miss your teaching very much. lol). Her teaching and writing is similar to Pn Fidzah one. She is a soft-spoken lady and friendly too. lol. During my first lesson for English, she asked the whole class to put all our shoes in the middle of the circle( we formed the circle ). She then asked one person to pick one of their friend's shoes and then describe about the owner of the particular shoes. That was very funny indeed and almost everyone laughed. Today in class, she asked us to write an essay more than 350 words and after that we did a total of 65 multiple choice questions. But I did manage to do all the questions except the essay which I don't have the time to check my spelling mistakes . lol. She just want to test our proficiency in English. That was the purpose she asked us to do the work.

I can go to the computer lab to surf the internet and also do our assignments. For the past 2 days, me, Shaheen and Jun Biao ( my close buddies in college ) went online to check our facebook and friendster. Wanted to blog but on that time, I don't have the mood to blog there. So, I did used the computer to do our stuff. Sadly, the computer doesn't have Windows Live Messenger and we can't chat using the computer. *sighs*

Everyday, I manage to got R.AGE- The Star newspaper for free and also I did took Malaysian Today and MYC!( Malaysia College ) News. I took it and read it almost everyday if I've have the free time. lol. Good thing to do to ease my past time in college.

Ps: Now i know the defination of the word " camwhoaring ". lol. I really don't know what is the meaning of the word until i discover the word in MYC! News magazine. lol
Ps: First week of lecture, the lecturer gave us homework. lol. Need to complete it as soon as possible. lol.

College

Today is the 1st day of July. June has ended. I just can't believe that 6 months had passed so fast. Haiz.. This shows that times flies. lol. July is also comsidered one of my favourite month. Haha.

About EURO 2008 football tournament which concluded recently, It was the best ever tournment hosted by Switzerland and Austria. Although this year tournament produce the fewest goal compared to last year tournament, but there is less red card shown by the referee to the players. Only 3 This shows that more players are showing their true respect to the referee and also respect the referee's decision. Overall, I watch all the 31 matches live because I've nothing to do at home. So, that is why I can stay up late to watch all the matches. Lol. The teams also put up a good show during the 3 week period tournament.

As for the final match between Germany and Spain. I think that Spain truely deserved to win the title and they had outclass the German side who are eventually inconsistant. I actually supported the Germans to clinch their fourth title but my supporting team ended up losing to a good and strong Spanish side. *sobs* *sobs*. But nevermind, football is football. There is a winning team and a losing team. lol. Anyway, life still go on for all of us.

As what the Astro Supersport's pundit Paul Masefield had said " Football is a very cruel sport"
I 100% support his statement. This is because that sometimes when a team which is leading until a dying seconds their opponent scored a vital goal which eventually killed off their hopes of winning the match. I can relate this statement to the Turkish side. Fof the 3 consecutive matches, they were about to knockout from the tournament. But they fought back from the very last minute to score a stunning goal that leads them to the victory and also all the way to the semi-final where they lost to Germany also from a very last minute goal. The Turks also stunned Europe with their "never say die attitude" throughout the tournament.

So EURO 2008 has over. The football fewer had ended. *sobs* *sobs*

The next football tournament will be 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup in South Africa and the long awaited 2010 FIFA World Cup also in South AFrica.

So, it is now back to club football to all players in August. lol.

Another 1 more day I will begin my studies in college. Now I must start studying and there goes my long 7 month break. For the past 7 months, Ive been doing nothing at home and lazed around. I did read my econimics book which my dad bought it for me. So, a new challenge awaits me. lol.

Another 2 more days the final of the EURO 2008 will take place. *sobs* *sobs*

I can't believe it that the tournment is coming to the end. Wow!!! It seems that time flies. Also the month June is coming to the end and July is next then. I can't believe that half of the year 2008 had passed so fast.

As expected the Germans will be meeting the Spanish in the final of the tournment. Anyway the Turks put up a good performance against the Germans although they eventually lost to a last-minute goal. They also attacked more compared to the Germans who did not really play well against the Turks. However, the Turks which is known as "Come back kings" will remain forever in the history of football and they can head home with their heads high. Incredible is it? I just hope that the German players will improve and also don't give away easy goals to their opponent, Spain.

About the Russia and Spain game the following day, I think that the Russians were not in their top form especially in the 2-nd half. Last week, the Russians tore down the Netherlands and in their semi-final game they failed to emulate their form against the Netherlands. The Spanish side were too strong to the Russians and I think the Russians gained lots of experiance in this tournament and also credit to be given to coach Guss Hiddink who had guided them to the semis.

As for the final, Germany vs Spain. Which team will lift the brand new redesigned Henri Delauny Trophy? Well, it is very hard to say which team will clinch the trophy because both of them are equally strong and have their own strength and ability to score lots of goals. But for me, i will surely pick the Germans to win this. Haha. We will see the match on Monday morning. Lol.
