Jams, Assignments, Exams

So far, at 3 and a half weeks in college, I'm adaping well in college.

I've made lots of new friends. Some of my friends whom I mixed with came from other state and also some are international students who come from Indonesia, Mauritius, Kenya, and China. It is a good exposure for me as I got to know more about the countries, cultures, etc. Lol.

By the way, alomost everyday I need to pass by the Sunway LDP toll plaza in order for me to get to Sunway University College. The main problem is there is always traffic jam while paying the toll. I've to endure all this every morning and to avoid the jam, I've to go an hour earlier. Sometimes, I reach the college in 30 mins time but if the jam is terrible, the journey will take an hour to reach. It seems that I'm joining the other cars go to work. lol.

What is the point paying the toll to suffer in the traffic jam??? Do we pay to suffer or do we pay to cut short our journey??? I just hope that the government can do something with it. Either abolish it or reduce the toll rates.

On the 31st of July, there will be a presentation for Malaysian studies and some of my group members still don't cooperate to comtribute idea on our assignment. GAH!!!!!!!
On the 1st of August, I will be sitting for my first exam for this year which is Economics and on
the 6th of August I will be sitting for my Maths exam. I'm just 50 % ready for it and I need to study more...

That's all for today and God bless. :)

College Stuff

Hi everyone! It has been a long time since I've blog. This is because I am quite busy with my college stuff and also lots of things need to settle in college. Well, orentation was fine. During the first day of college, I thought I won't have any friends but on the day itself, I got to meet lots of new local friends and also foreign frineds. Most of the students there are very friendly and sociable and I felt blessed to have these kind of frineds. I even met Muhaimin who is also doing the same course as me but he took different subjects. I also met Besty who is currently studying A-levels in the same college. I also meet Catherine( ADTP ), Brian Yeo ( AUSMAT ) and also Aliza ( CIMP ) during my first day in Sunway. I think that quite a number of Melawatian study there too.

Well, the subjects that I took for my MUFY are English, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, and Malaysian Studies( I think that subject is totally useless and why on earth the government asked all Malaysian students to study that particular subject ) Haiz.... NoOb betul lah the government. On Wednesday, we had officially started our lecture class. About the lecturer, some are good and some are not good. Basically, it is like going to school. The only different thing is the lecture room is equipped with air-con whereas school does not. With air-con, we can concentrate more while the lecturer is teaching. Also we have to move from one class to another to attend another subject lecture. Unlike school, we have a fixed classroom and also fixed sitting place. Lots of differences between school and college. I have to adapt college life as soon as possible.

My English lecturer reminds me of Pn Fidzah ( I miss your teaching very much. lol). Her teaching and writing is similar to Pn Fidzah one. She is a soft-spoken lady and friendly too. lol. During my first lesson for English, she asked the whole class to put all our shoes in the middle of the circle( we formed the circle ). She then asked one person to pick one of their friend's shoes and then describe about the owner of the particular shoes. That was very funny indeed and almost everyone laughed. Today in class, she asked us to write an essay more than 350 words and after that we did a total of 65 multiple choice questions. But I did manage to do all the questions except the essay which I don't have the time to check my spelling mistakes . lol. She just want to test our proficiency in English. That was the purpose she asked us to do the work.

I can go to the computer lab to surf the internet and also do our assignments. For the past 2 days, me, Shaheen and Jun Biao ( my close buddies in college ) went online to check our facebook and friendster. Wanted to blog but on that time, I don't have the mood to blog there. So, I did used the computer to do our stuff. Sadly, the computer doesn't have Windows Live Messenger and we can't chat using the computer. *sighs*

Everyday, I manage to got R.AGE- The Star newspaper for free and also I did took Malaysian Today and MYC!( Malaysia College ) News. I took it and read it almost everyday if I've have the free time. lol. Good thing to do to ease my past time in college.

Ps: Now i know the defination of the word " camwhoaring ". lol. I really don't know what is the meaning of the word until i discover the word in MYC! News magazine. lol
Ps: First week of lecture, the lecturer gave us homework. lol. Need to complete it as soon as possible. lol.

That all for today. Tata and God bless. :)

College

Today is the 1st day of July. June has ended. I just can't believe that 6 months had passed so fast. Haiz.. This shows that times flies. lol. July is also comsidered one of my favourite month. Haha.

About EURO 2008 football tournament which concluded recently, It was the best ever tournment hosted by Switzerland and Austria. Although this year tournament produce the fewest goal compared to last year tournament, but there is less red card shown by the referee to the players. Only 3 This shows that more players are showing their true respect to the referee and also respect the referee's decision. Overall, I watch all the 31 matches live because I've nothing to do at home. So, that is why I can stay up late to watch all the matches. Lol. The teams also put up a good show during the 3 week period tournament.

As for the final match between Germany and Spain. I think that Spain truely deserved to win the title and they had outclass the German side who are eventually inconsistant. I actually supported the Germans to clinch their fourth title but my supporting team ended up losing to a good and strong Spanish side. *sobs* *sobs*. But nevermind, football is football. There is a winning team and a losing team. lol. Anyway, life still go on for all of us.

As what the Astro Supersport's pundit Paul Masefield had said " Football is a very cruel sport"
I 100% support his statement. This is because that sometimes when a team which is leading until a dying seconds their opponent scored a vital goal which eventually killed off their hopes of winning the match. I can relate this statement to the Turkish side. Fof the 3 consecutive matches, they were about to knockout from the tournament. But they fought back from the very last minute to score a stunning goal that leads them to the victory and also all the way to the semi-final where they lost to Germany also from a very last minute goal. The Turks also stunned Europe with their "never say die attitude" throughout the tournament.

So EURO 2008 has over. The football fewer had ended. *sobs* *sobs*

The next football tournament will be 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup in South Africa and the long awaited 2010 FIFA World Cup also in South AFrica.

So, it is now back to club football to all players in August. lol.

Another 1 more day I will begin my studies in college. Now I must start studying and there goes my long 7 month break. For the past 7 months, Ive been doing nothing at home and lazed around. I did read my econimics book which my dad bought it for me. So, a new challenge awaits me. lol.

That is all for today. Take care and God bless :)
