Exams Results.

MUFY results supposed to be out by today. Since some of my friends told me yesterday that the results can be checked online starting yesterday, I was quite nervous upon hearing this. The final exam that I did 3 weeks ago were fine, but the thing was I was not very sure of the answers given.

One of my best buddy SMS me yesterday evening that the results were released online and can be viewed. I told her that I will check mine after my dinner. Few moments later, she then SMS me telling me that she checked her results and she was so happy that she had done scored so well. I thought that since she did so well, maybe I will do well too. haha

Immediately after dinner, I turned on my laptop and access to the mymonash portal to check my results. After logging into the mymonash portal, I was so nervous and my heart beat quite fast. Finally, when the paged is being displayed, my right hand was on the mouse and I scrolled down the page to check my results. Upon seeing my results, I was so happy that all my hardwork paid off. I scored all 5 High Distinction in all 5 subjects taken. Finally, I can sleep well and don't have to worry so much. I called my best friend and share the good news to her. She was so happy with my results too and we then congratulate each other for getting all HD in all subject taken.

Here are my results for both semesters.

Semester 1

English Part A - 73 - Distinction

Accounting Part A -88 - High Distinction

Economics Part A - 79 - Distinction

Maths Part A - 85 - High Distinction

Semester 2

English Part B - 87 - High Distinction

Accounting Part B - 91 - High Distinction

Computer Science Part A - 87 - High Distinction

Economics Part B - 90 - High Distinction

Maths Part B - 91 - High Distinction

Average score after adding the highest 8 units and the lowest unit will take it as 5% of the total marks is 353. Clearly, my semester 2 results were much better than the previous semester.

I've achieve my target of getting at least 350 for my average score. I'm so happy and delighted with my results especially English. Actually, English was not an easy subject to score High Distinction after all. Many thanks to Ms Angela for all her advice and lectures throughout the past 5 months..

Finally, I can relax a while more before going to Monash University next month. Looking forward for that and graduation night on thr 15 July :)

This morning the USA had ended Spain winning streak in the 2009 Confederation Cup Semis by beating their number 1 opponent 2-0

Clint Dempley scored the second goal against Spain.

Next match would be Brazil vs South Africa.. Maybe the hosts might upset the defending champions. But the Samba boys are clear favourites to win the match.

That all for today. Tata and God bless. :)

Pimples and Acne's

( Extracted from Wikipedia )

Acne vulgaris (commonly called acne) is a common skin condition, caused by changes in the pilosebaceous units, skin structures consisting of a hair follicle and its associated sebaceous gland via androgen stimulation. It is characterized by noninflammatory follicular papules or comedones and by inflammatory papules, pustules, and nodules in its more severe forms. Acne vulgaris affects the areas of skin with the densest population of sebaceous follicles; these areas include the face, the upper part of the chest, and the back. Severe acne is inflammatory, but acne can also manifest in noninflammatory forms.[1] Acne lesions are commonly referred to as pimples, blemishes, spots, zits, or acne.

Acne is most common during adolescence, affecting more than 85% of teenagers, and frequently continues into adulthood. The cause in adolescence is generally an increase in male sex hormones, which people of both genders accrue during puberty. [2] For most people, acne diminishes over time and tends to disappear—or at the very least decrease—after one reaches one's early twenties. There is, however, no way to predict how long it will take to disappear entirely, and some individuals will continue to suffer well into their thirties, forties and beyond.[3]

The face and upper neck are the most commonly affected, but the chest, back and shoulders may have acne as well. The upper arms can also have acne, but lesions found there are often keratosis pilaris, not acne. Typical acne lesions are comedones, inflammatory papules, pustules and nodules. Some of the large nodules were previously called "cysts" and the term nodulocystic has been used to describe severe cases of inflammatory acne. [4]
Aside from scarring, its main effects are psychological, such as reduced self-esteem[5] and, according to at least one study, depression or suicide.[6] Acne usually appears during adolescence, when people already tend to be most socially insecure. Early and aggressive treatment is therefore advocated by some to lessen the overall impact to individuals.[5]

My face has been growing lots of pimples or acne's ever since I've finished my exams. I don't know what are the possible cause of pimples or acne. I know that growing pimples during the exam periods is usual for students like me because they themselves have to stay up late to study, and also assignments pouring in causing them to have high level of stress like me.

But now that the exams had ended, my face continue to grow lots of pimples or acne's and this certainly worries me. For the past 6 months I've stopped eating peanut butter which is one of my favourite sandwich spread for breakfast. In fact, I'm now avoiding food that is fried, oily and something that contain peanut in it. I really miss peanut butter and for the sake of my face and to prevent pimples from growing, I have to stop eating that for a while untill my pimples subside.

Few months back, I went to see the doctor about my pimples and acne's. The doctor then prescribed me some antibiotics and pimple cream to apply on it.. The nurse also advised me to stay away from eating fried and oily food for the time being. I finished the antibiotics and every night I applied the pimple cream that the doctor prescribed to me. Initially, it was effective and the pimples dried up. After the exam period, I realised that my pimples and acne's keep on popping on my face. In fact, I tried not to stay in my hot and stuffy room every afternoon and I also make sure that I drink lots of water when I'm at home. Also I also watch my diet and also go jogging every evening..

All these that I've done can't prevent the pimples from growing. I also don't know what do do with this. In fact my face tend to become oily easily and I wash my face every 3 times a day. I just hope that these irritating pimples or acne's will subside before going for the Graduation Night next month.

I think I should stop complaining here. Otherwise more pimples will grow on my face. hahaha. * kidding only*

Going to Genting tomorrow and will be back on Saturday :)

Tata and God bless.

Final exam had over.. I felt relieved... After 5 months of lectures and tutorials, I've finally done with it. I know that Pre-University is not as easy as expected as assignments and tests keep pouring as time passes.

Now that I'm done with this. I want to have a nice break. Maybe I would use the time to sleep, go facebook-ing, reading, and playing my PS2 games.. I don't feel like blogging now.. Maybe someday if I have the mood to blog, I will do so..

My blog layout looks very plain.. Oneday, I would like to seek my cousin's help to change the blog layout. Just that I'm too lazy to look out for a more creative design..

That's all for today and I will update this blog very soon. :)

Tata and God bless. :)
